Some of you may
have noticed that the password for Computer Cuisine is
different from the password for Computer Cuisine Deluxe.
This has taken place for two reasons:
In has come to my
attention that Computer Cuisine's password has been
distributed on the Internet in underground serial number
lists. The original intention has always been to keep the
password for Computer Cuisine the same throughout it's
existence, however, some individuals have taken it upon
themselves to pass out the password for free. Thus, it
was imperative that we change the password for all future
versions.
Computer Cuisine Deluxe
marks a breakthrough from the original template. This new
version now no longer requires FileMaker Pro as a parent
application. Computer Cuisine Deluxe is now a
self-running application. With a substantial investment
of both time and money into the tools allowing for
Computer Cuisine Deluxe to fly solo, this marks the end
of the original Computer Cuisine "template". With this
departure into a new product, Computer Cuisine Deluxe
will require registration from all users. With the
expansion of Computer Cuisine Deluxe, we hope to provide
bimonthly recipe updates and other features not usually
found in a shareware product. Again, Computer Cuisine
Deluxe is not a mere upgrade, but a transformation into
an entirely new product. This is why registration will be
required for all users of Computer Cuisine Deluxe. Those
in opposition to this policy will be pleased to know that
the difference between Computer Cuisine 6.0 and Computer
Cuisine Deluxe 1.0 is its ability to run on its own
without FileMaker Pro. Since all users of Computer
Cuisine 6.0 have FileMaker, please continue to use
Computer Cuisine 6.0 knowing that you have all the latest
bells and whistles of Computer Cuisine Deluxe.
Sincerely,
Mike McGee
